The lioness pushing her whole head through narrow bars? Hmm. Physical realities strike again. Human beings have a body : mortal blood, bone & flesh is our fundamental. Which makes #AI vids like this modern Tom & Jerry. Can't say I'm a big cartoon fan personally.

Things will change rapidly over the next 3 years imo. The dollar system that currently drives the city of London is being challenged. Also expecting #AI wars as different systems clash on a global scale within companies & Governments. Globalism is going to die.

Can't speak for Reform, sorry. Coming at this from broader pov. UK has problems. If someone, whoever, thinks there are answers then I'm interested in discussing viability of those ideas. I do think the UK government should plan ahead for #AI & strong unions would be start.

Thanks. I don't know about employment details (clearly!). But I do question globalism, mainly because I see it as a consequence of neoliberalism (ie 'free' market of workers). Third world countries mainly lose out right now. It disempowered workers unions imo.

Thanks for the correction on pay, though nb there are exceptions, salary discounts etc. But my question first perhaps? We have eg high youth unemployment. Doctors are leaving. Soon #AI will take jobs. What's good about hiring more workers from abroad?

Don’t ban kids using YouTube. Make YouTube behave like a broadcaster. Pay creators. Reinvest in the creative industries. Pay fair tax back into creators’ economies. Follow guidelines on fair usage and copyright. Play fair. It’s bigger than TV now. Make it behave like TV.

It's cheaper to hire foreign workers. Why is that a good thing? Especially when Britain has such high youth unemployment. Plus its one of the reasons our trained Doctors are leaving UK for Oz.

Not sure proportional representation is the answer when lots of people don't vote. A mandatory voting system, as in Austrailia & with an emphasis on social responsibility, is surely the first & best step forward?

'Access' does not account for plummeting fertility rates worldwide. Poverty has always favoured having children -until smartphones. Stark link (see recent FT article). People no longer stay in 'couples'. Modern tech captures & isolates 'attention'.

Unfortunately, tech in the form of social media does thwart human progress most fundamentally: people now prefer artificial worlds to real life, which no longer gives them meaning & not in terms of the material aspects you cite. Imo its little to do with money or school policy. It's interrelational.

The terms 'right wing' & 'left wing' are so outdated. The political landscape is so much more complex in the west. There are no such strict divides anymore. It's much more appropriate to discuss issues with ref to class, education, religion & all in the general context of prog liberalism.

Sadiq Khan rambling on about 'progressive' this & that. Such a bland term that people define differently. The Labour supporter loss is basic. Labour is siding with bosses. They put profits above people. Look at the water industry. Human beings NEED clean water But dont get it. Its as basic as that.

These 'military operations' ie wars like Russia against Ukraine, mainly have consequences to people living there & also their neighbours. There will be death, followed by political turmoil & another wave of immigration, usually northwards & often into Europe. Does this war make America feel safer?

Sure. Billionaires shld pay more tax & racism is wrong. Nevertheless I think its OK to be against #immigration. We've stagnant wages (obvs if the world can supply workers that increases uk worker pool: ask jnr drs). Ai is coming. Plus in abt 4yrs, major climate catastrophe hits our food security.

'Let's build something real': great video. New ideas definitely needed. Key to understanding political failure frm neoliberal stranglehold imo is our atomisation into individual consumers. Even the Green party puts individual rights above the 'common good': the idea of care needs human connections.

China does the former. Western lib democracies largely the latter. But BOTH systems rely on one basic similarity -average maths scores. The normal. My point: any 'Politics of care' must be based on real measures. Science/research led policy that is discussed, with a clear aim.
