i don’t know exactly what happened but they decided instead to upgrade me to an executive suite which has 2 rooms, more square footage than my house and a panoramic fucking balcony. there is a separate LIVING ROOM. i feel like lewis hamilton right now i’m CRYING

amount for this but i like to see the boats. the hotel put me in an upgraded room without a river view and then tried to tell me that river views were not guaranteed. i had screenshots and so receipts were provided. i was polite but firm: river view, or downgrade me & i’ll take my extra £££ back.

so i paid £££ more to upgrade my room so i’d get a river view and could watch the boats, which was a massive highlight of my stay last year and made me really happy. the hotel advertised the upgraded room as having the expansive river view whereas the standard rooms did not. i paid a ridiculous
