I am always amazed by the skill of potters & love a good replica so this oil lamp by the super talented Gilbert Burroughs ticks many boxes! A Loeschcke type IV, with the central relief decoration depicting glass blowers (dates c.40-100 CE)... #archaeology #romanarchaeology #pottery

Not directly, but I don't see why use should be limited to one activity. The article by Rosa Maria Cid Lopez is a good shout - that infants werent being abanonded in the true sense of the word, but left to be fed until adopted and/or wet nurses could be hired.

No, no coding, it was just the available post it notes as that element was quite impromptu. What did happen was that people then started writing their own expereinces on notes and sticking them on an area of blank wall in the room, forming a new 'poster'

All the post-it notes stuck to the posters in the photo above? That was a suggestion by one of the delegates, inviting people to pop a blank note on a poster if they had witnessed or expereinced that particular behavior in an archaeological setting. The result was a stark visual.

3 years ago this week I took the #Archaeosexism exhibition to the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists #CIfA conference. Three days of observing & listening to people recounting their expereinces of workplace #sexism & engaging with those rarely 'in the room' for these type of events.
