Kilnwick Percy, near Pocklington, was a 12th-century seat held by the powerful, Norman-descended Percy family in this case Ernald de Perci, which gave the estate its name. The manor was originally given by William the Conqueror to Robert de Bruis, but was inherited in
The image displays St Helen's Church located in Kilnwick Percy. This historic building is a Grade II listed church with 12th-century origins, though much of its current structure dates to a rebuilding in 1865.
It is situated within the grounds of Kilnwick Percy Hall, which currently operates as the Madhyamaka Kadampa Meditation Centre.
The church is now redundant and generally closed to the public, though its exterior can be viewed by visitors to the meditation centre's grounds. Image: Richard Masters CC BY-NC-SA 2.0

Attended New York Philharmonic concert this weekend. I went to see Bronfman play Schumann, as concert was advertised- did not notice Tchaikovsky imperialist 2nd Symphony on prog. I was horrified to see the program notes. How is this tone deaf imperialist Russian chauvinism possible in 2026?!?

Thank God for @garymarcus.bsky.social and his willingness to name the truth. From: open.substack.com/pub/garymarc...
My verdict, in short, is that ChatGPT is a trillion dollar experiment that has failed.
Even with more resources than almost any experiment in history, ChatGPT has failed to solve the core cognitive problems I stressed three years ago. And because of the discrepancy between reliability and the immense costs that stem from the inherent inefficiency of a system that it dependent on absorbing internet-scale data, it has thus far failed to make profits for companies like OpenAI.
