Just got outta the TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY 35th anniversary rerelease and Jesus Christ, man. What a movie. They had to do all that shit for real. They had to fly that helicopter under an overpass. They had to blow up that building. They had to find an actor who could turn into liquid metal.

If we are going by "Roadside Attraction," which this contest is about, Mr. PG is the clear winner. If we are going by "Historic or Heritage Site" it's Barkerville. I have big feelings about the categorization of this contest which is unfairly penalizing Mr. PG.

The DHCP being ended too is particularly heart breaking. Canada Strong, but no funding for our collective histories and heritage? No funding avenues for FN and marginalized communities to preserve and showcase their histories?

My least favorite thing about living in Prince George is emailing my conservative MLA and MP and never receiving a response because they know they could put a whacky inflatable tube man in a bad suit and run them as a conservative and still win, so why engage with their constituents?

The drunk uncle theory. You don’t argue with the casually homophobic uncle at Thanksgiving dinner to change his mind; you argue so that the closeted cousin at the kids table knows there’s safe people and better possibilities out there
