3-12 "Dr. Yu, stop! You're making the background red in a non-diegetic way!"

- Note now open and in the foreground, Shadow stares at it with some fear from his table.
SHADOW: That looks familiar, why does that look –
DR. YU: You know what this is, Shadow.
DR. YU: This is, theoretically, what made you attack Agent Rouge.
- Extreme close-up of Yu’s malicious eyes.
DR. YU: We will be testing this –
DR. YU: – As well as other things, if all goes well.
- Shadow starts to panic on the table and struggle against his bindings.
DR. YU [off-panel]: Y'Gaar shor…
SHADOW: Wait! You don’t know what you’re doing!
- The background begins to tint red non-diegetically. Shadow’s eyes have shrunk to pinpricks as the alien words begin to affect him.
DR. YU: … guul deta…
SHADOW: Dr. Yu, stop! You’ll – Hrrngh-k-k…!
- Shadow is squeezing his eyes shut and keeping his teeth clenched while sweat pours off of him.
DR. YU: Shor.
SHADOW: Grrrgh…! RRRGH…!
DR. YU: Zuurm.

Hey folks, so I'm currently making, as of this post, $991 total per month working on Infested. Which means I'm making, going off my 12-hour-a-day-7-days-a-week work schedule, $2.66/per hour. That's unsustainable. I wanted to be honest, because I wanted to honestly reach out for your help. 1/3

Oh yeah, right in the vein please

What is discomfort? A thwarted will. An unmet I want. It often leads to pain. Response to discomfort is everything. If you do something with it, you're probably a creator. If you demand to have it removed, you're probably a customer.

3-10 This vet sucks, dude. Stop yapping and clip Shadow's claws, already.

- X-ray of Shadow’s brain. The parasite is buried within.
- Shadow, on the table still, is horrified at what he is seeing.
SHADOW: What… Is…?
DR. YU: A brain parasite, clearly.
- Zoom in on Shadow’s disturbed face.
DR. YU: Caught a bug in the jungles of Soumerca did we?
- Dr. Yu steps closer to Shadow again, drenched in darkness, staring down at him. Shadow looks both scared and offended.
DR. YU: You’re the so-called “Ultimate Lifeform.”
DR. YU: Immune to every disease…
DR. YU: … Yet tripped up by something larger than a single cell.
SHADOW: You…
- Low angle, Shadow turns his head to face away from Dr. Yu. Yu continues to stare down at him, his emotions unclear with nearly his whole self cast in darkness. Shadow has put up an unaffected sort of front for the doctor.
SHADOW: … You talk too much.
SHADOW: Do your job, or I’ll make sure our Commander hands it off to someone more efficient.

it all starts with this 💎

(my art) A painting depicting the events of Sonic Adventure 2 in a medieval-inspired frame. Sonic and Shadow are in the middle, both reaching for the green chaos emerald, with a red thread linking the two of them, wrapped around their pinky fingers

3-9 Is it "de-humanization" if the person you're putting the collar on isn't human?

- Shadow, w/ electrodes, is held on table in lab w/ Dr. Yu. There's box device w/ lever, which Shadow is wired to. Above, an x-ray machine on robot arm, bolted to ceiling. Shadow is not wearing cuffs, now wearing a collar. Shadow glares up. Behind Dr. Yu, monitors on desk.
YU: Now that I’ve got you all set up, welcome to my lab, Agent Shadow.
YU: I’m sure you appreciate the new collar –
YU: – Designed, of course, to keep your Chaos powers in check just as well as your handcuffs did.
YU: But enough chit-chat. Let’s get to work.
- Arm dips, scans Shad. He squints @ light.
SFX: VRRRT ZZZZ
YU: I’ve been told of how strangely electronics have acted around you recently. Both in the prison and in the Med-Bay.
YU: I have my suspicions, so I’m putting my aluminum-coated scanner to work. Just in case.
- Yu, we looks over his shoulder, glasses reflect monitor – An x-ray of Shad’s brain.
YU: Likewise, I’ve been able to protect my computers from –
YU: Oh?
YU: Ohhh-ho-ho.

(my art) The logoless cover for IDW Sonic issue 92B. It features a startled Tangle, looking up at Whisper who is floating down above her using her wispon. There is a coffin in the back with a mysterious green gem, and a bandaged hand looming above.

When Maria has one of her bad days... (inspired by a reblog on tumblr) #sonicfanart #shadowthehedgehog

Shadow with bare quills and drooping ears gazes mournfully at a star shaped pin held gently in both of his hands (drawn in reference to a previous "Bows and Ribbons" post).

3-8 Skip the pleasantries and get right to the part where you inject radioactive waste into my skull, doc.

- Same shot as 2-7 P-5. Dr. Yu’s eyes are now filled with a faux-friendliness.
DR. YU: Ahah, haha.
- Full shot low angle of Dr. Yu, with Shades Soldier and Mask Soldier on either side of him, wielding their guns. Shadow sits on his bed in the FG.
DR. YU: Agent Shadow. Good morning.
DR. YU: I hope you slept –
CAP: G.U.N. HQ Underground Prison, Early Morning
- Shadow looks directly at Yu from his spot on the bed. We are seeing this from the perspective of Dr. Yu. He seems angry.
SHADOW: – Skip the pleasantries, Doctor. Let’s just get this over with.
- Close-up low angle of Dr. Yu, his facial features dipped in shadows from the fluorescent lights above him. He smiles smugly down at Shadow.
DR. YU: Well! If you insist.
