Woe, Sniper Edelgard be upon thee.

A screenshot of Sniper Edelgard's stat sheet, she has a whopping 43 strength in the sniper class. Combined with the Sniper's unique Art Hunter's Volley, she can do truly absurd amounts of damage. She also has Aymr because Raging Storm is stupid.

A screenshot of Edelgard defeating the Immaculate One at the end of her route - She's level 42 and she's backed up by Fortress Knight Leonie (lol).

#VGenComm sketch page for Lumilise of Siegbert and Shigure! 💖 #FireEmblem #FEFates #FEHeroes

Fire Emblem Fates/ Heroes: Sketches of Siegbert and Shigure paired together
1)Top: Shigure in the foreground singing with eyes closed, a hand placed on his chest. Siegbert is standing further back while watching him with content enjoyment.
2)Bottom: Siegbert finishing up a painting, with the easel facing away from the viewer. He is holding up an art palette in one hand with a smile of satisfaction. Shigure is next to him watching with an impressed and thoughtful smile.
3) Right: Siegbert and Shigure in custom outfits. Siegbert is dressed as a Paladin (Xander's outfit) and wearing the crown. Shigure is dressed in his performing arts FEH outfit but themed to his usual colors. Both are hugging each other closely with eyes closed and loving smiles. Shigure is resting his head on and with one hand on Siegbert's chestplate, while Siegbert holds him close while resting his head on top of Shigure's.

"Is this game good?" is the wrong question. Sometimes they let you pet cats! Sometimes your archers can fire 7 squares away! Sometimes your children get banished to the baby realm as soon as they're born. You just have to roll with it and you'll have a great time.

The secret to the new Fire Emblem game is that you can't expect it to be anything in particular. You just have to open your heart and accept it for what it is.

Dying at this clip of Hubert 'using' a bow in his attack. Also that the vid title says 'ferdibert uses a bow'. Imagine if everyone at Garreg Mach called them ferdibert individually, just to wind them up. youtu.be/w_LkEQsKfic?...

Freshly reminded that a huge part of my lingering dislike for Fire Emblem Three Houses is concentrated specifically inside of Reunion at Dawn.

I've been thinking about this for a while now but it's wild how AI idiots feel so comfortable and proud of using AI because they have a completely warped way of viewing art. They don't see artists as people, we're tools, that's why their "AI is just a tool" argument makes so much sense to them.

And yes it has been said time and time again but I don't think I'm better than people who use AI to do their thinking and art for them, I KNOW I'm better than them. Sorry, maybe we can talk when you can form your own opinions and thoughts and don't need to ask AI to come up with arguments for you.

Finally. Blue Lions completed. That last map was...something. If I hadn't set up Byleth to avoid tank quite a bit earlier I don't think I could have managed the sheer number of enemies.

a screenshot from Fire Emblem Three Houses, the final map of the Blue Lion route. The screenshot shows Dimitri striking the final blow on Hegemon Edelgard, supported by Byleth, Flayn, and Bernadetta.

@fizzydog.bsky.social Happy (late) birthday! Meant to get to this sooner but surgery recovery took a bit. Also I dunno if that's what you had in mind when you said "pink beams of light" but that's where my brain instantly went. :D

A colored sketch of FizzyDog's character Sokol. He's a canine furry with a very light yellow fur tone and dark blond (gold?) hair. He has two big bright gold wings on his back and a smaller pair of wings on his head. A pink halo floats above his head. His eyes are pink, and he has a small patch of darker fur under each eye. He's wearing a white and pink longcoat with dark purple pants and boots. He has a long and flowing golden tail, same color as his hair. He has twin pink and white blades of light extending from a point just beyond each palm, pointing to each side.

behold: old screenshots I found of Zara before she figured it out. :)

Possibly the oldest screenshot I have of Zara, as a "male" miqote with long black hair wearing a suit of chainmail and holding a bow.

Another very old screenshot of Zara as a "male" miqote with shorter white hair, wearing an open-chest jacket.

Another screenshot of Zara as a "male" miqote with short white hair in a ponytail. Where'd her shirt go?

One last screenshot of Zara as a "male" miqote with short hair dyed red, worn down over her eyes. She's wearing the Storm Lieutenant's Jacket, and a fairie (Eos) floats nearby.

whew. eternally grateful to the scheduling staff that made it possible for my surgery to happen before the government yanked coverage. And I hope that coverage will be restored, when we eventually come out the other side of this mess.

Total Provider Charges: $109,525.37
Paid by Plan: $65,088.59

the everything going on has been too overwhelming, so it's time to indulge in a playthrough of my young-adulthood favorite Fire Emblem. With the gay mod, because obviously.

Frederick Fire Emblem Awakening saying "You've grown so much. You're the spitting image of your father" to Lucina, his and Chrom's daughter.

Frederick says "Ah, I see you calling me "Papa" didn't work out. I suppose it's because I was too serious."
I didn't capture the rest of the dialogue but it was very sweet and it made me tear up a little.

Frederick hugs Lucina, his shield blocks the camera view.
