I did just check but the larger ones all jump up to 2.9, which is the bottle I have (not the one I had at WC, which apparently fell out during my trip and is now . . . gone)(but it was cheap and free so...)

000

fortunately my backpack is waterproof!

that looks GREAT but is more than I want to spend on a bottle I may well lose while traveling (being me).

thanks! The 10 oz is likely smaller than I want, but the 2.45 diameter is tempting

100

thanks! I had one that worked well and eventually I think it fell out and I didn't notice ....

I wasn't able to find a storefront online except a facebook page

100

sadly the web site doesn't seem to list specifications (to check the diameter) OR ELSE I am simply not finding it (most likely)

000

that looks good! (and I am indeed looking for an airport bottle that won't leak when I have to stash my backpack under the seat on its side). 2.8 (ish) (as here) seems to be the standard smallest diameter

100

I was hoping for LESS than 2.85, and if I can't find anything slimmer, I am indeed eyeing the Owala (there's an out of stock 18 oz "twist" that I am on the mailing list for when it comes back in stock). It's less the height than the diameter (because of my bags)

product query: can anyone recommend a slim (less than 2.85 diameter so it can fit into a tight side pocket of small pack & not more than 20 oz volume) travel water bottle, stainless steel, MUST BE leakproof at all angles. Yes, my current one has (again) leaked while traveling and lying on its side.

I will just choose two (tho there are more): non fiction: The Most Awful Responsibility: Truman and the Secret Struggle for the Atomic Age (interesting granular history, I learned stuff) fiction: The Book of the Jaguar by Victor Ladis Schultz, small press literary fantasy, I blurbed it.

I don't generally have favorite books but when I get home I will check my reading list and share a book I found pretty impactful that I read this year

Good question! Progression fantasy is a genre that evolved in serial formats like Royal Road and Narou. At its most basic level it generally follows a single protagonist whose explicit goal is to grow stronger, either for some purpose or just because they want strength.

This is simply not generating either the volume or tone of scandal coverage that effectively ended Joe Biden's presidency when he was unable to produce a surgically-clean implementation of Donald Trump's totally unplanned & poorly timed withdrawal from Afghanistan: bsky.app/profile/mcop...

I know I'm writing from a biased & privileged viewpoint as a bookseller but SO many young people are telling me everyday they're getting back into reading. And they want to read the good stuff, the nuanced stuff, the beauty. And they want to talk about it with other readers. And take notes by hand.

I am in Cap Haitien interviewing people deported from the United States. I have been doing this kind of work for almost a decade and it literally does not get more dire than this. People have lost everything they built in the U.S. and are terrified and have no place to go or way to live.
