(As a runner, the number of times I have met people who swear they have great control over their dogs who DEFINITELY DO NOT cannot be counted, I do NOT RUN directly past dogs, even ones I "know".) It's like how everyone thinks they're an above average driver. Sure Jan.

I think its important to understand the campus sexual assault crisis is way worse than you think. universities suspend just 1/12,400 students each year for sexual misconduct & expel 1/22,900. once you read title ix administrators in their own words, you get a sense why that is:

Don’t believe people who tell you ai can be liberatory or any other misappropriation of movement talk or justice frameworks. Find some people who are preparing to rebuild and cast your lot with them. Then read a bit more. Just keep your wits about you because they are trying to run game.

Are you referring to private R1s? Even the elite public R1s (which I think UIUC would consider itself) has no internal money aside from some small seed grants we need to apply to. Our news bureau is great but they aren't pitching us, just writing PRs if we specifically ask.
