Tales of the Abyss was out overseas 20 years ago (2006) on PS2! 🌏️ With fun-to-break combat, strong world-building, and an incredible cast & story that might still be some of the series' best. I miss this one. Media + Review: www.rpgfan.com/game/tales-o...

i rewatched The Matrix trilogy recently and could not help but laugh when i saw each movie had a different production logo. they were all released within four years, with the second and third movie released in the same year!

All we need now is MediaOCD to somehow pry the Gundam rights out of CR's greasy, gnarled clutches and we truly do have the steady return of a new Rightstuf at this point. You love to see it!

Been having this same experience recently, and my friend group has shrunk considerably in recent years so very disheartening tbh. Been coping with my value as a friend, and what to do now. At least a lot of my online friends got me though

Just helping with editing here. These bots aren’t sentient. They’re doing what they’re programmed to do. OpenAI, a private company supposedly bound by laws, committed federal crimes.

"They're not misunderstanding the film; they're co-opting a message"

Screencap from the interview linked in the quoted post

Marlow Stern (the interviewer): You have one of the most renowned replies in Twitter history. Elon Musk tweeted out, “Take the red pill,” then Ivanka Trump enthusiastically wrote, “Taken!” to him, and then you replied, “Fuck both of you.” I’m curious how you feel about the co-opting of “The Matrix” by those on the right who don’t really seem to understand its messaging.

Lilly Wachowski: I mean, I can’t sit in a room and explain the movie to every single person who watches it. Even if I did sit in a room with Elon Musk and Ivanka Trump — yikes — it doesn’t matter. They’re not misunderstanding the film; they’re co-opting a message. And that’s what fascists do: They co-opt the messages of progressives and use it to their benefit to confuse and obfuscate what is going on and the intention of their ideology. They do it with everything. They do it with Martin Luther King Jr. Look at how they’ve changed the idea of what antisemitism is.

I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

I would 100% support a law that says if any digital platform removes your access to media you paid for then they are required to refund you the entirety of the original purchase price. That would solve this whole thing in a hurry.
