I still can’t get over the fact that they presented graphs like this!!!
reddit thread showing a screengrab from the GPT-5 launch where a graph is insanely inaccurate. 69.1 and 30.8 are somehow the same size on the barchart but both smaller than 52.8.

Yep, but then in parks at least if you take the shortcut you still end up where you wanted to go…not quite sure that will be the case with AI Mode. So I thought it’s this meme but proceed with caution because sometimes that path turns into a trek in the forest 😂

Yeah it’s shocking. But sadly not a first, especially not when we look at it on a global scale. I thought we needed a conversation on - an attack on one minorities human rights is an attack on all human rights - but it looks like some people don’t even recognise a threat to their own rights.

The brexit vote was just after my first year being in the UK. Two customers at the restaurant I’ve worked at the time asked my opinion on it, and if I have voted (this is all after I told them I am a european immigrant). I think we just always underestimate the level of cluelessness in the world.

it can definitely be annoying but I think it’s more to do with the fact that tools should do a better job at not flagging it as an error or not group it by default. But I think from a crawl budget perspective it makes sense, plus it helps to see if you want to know if a page is being cached.

I love using this app for theatre tickets but I really dislike push notifications that can go incredibly wrong. Marketers should really think twice when they try to create ‘relatable’ messaging. Assuming that we all had the privilege to be with our families for the long weekend is a big mistake.

I think it would be ideal if SEOs would be judged on adaptability and resilience - how well can your strategy adapt to changing environments without needing to design a whole new approach, and how quickly you can bounce back and recover losses.

@markwilliamscook.com I do agree however, that it would be unusual if it would actually be self-aware of such a glitch so that does seem odd. It is on the free version as well and it seems to happens randomly.

So I’d ask something about neuroscience or biology and it would reply with as if I asked for financial advice, or send me a marketing plan for some random business that actually does exist when I checked it. It is very odd and happened quite a few times in the past week.

ChatGPT having some rouge moments in the past few days randomly incorporating totally irrelevant topics into the conversation. When I asked why it has done that this was the response. “the system accidentally pulled in unrelated content from a different search or user context.” yikes
ChatGPT response saying; Great question — and thanks for calling it out!

That strange off-topic reply earlier (about financial and operational risks) came from a glitch where the system accidentally pulled in unrelated content from a different search or user context. It definitely wasn’t from anything you said or uploaded.
