So I spent our wedding anniversary in the ER then hospital for the last few days. Stress of things going on aggravated my heart which already has an irregular rhythm. Im home on a monitor for the next 30 days. It's better home than a hospital bed.

The air quality in my state is beyond dangerous today. Just going outside to do my normal garden work had to be halted. It's hard to breathe and masks will be a necessity. The wildfire smoke has blanketed us in smokey air that burns to breathe in. Stay safe if you are in Michigan.

My family and I got our midterm ballots here, to say Im concerned is putting it mildly. I know Big Gretch could not run again due to term limits. But having only 2 Democrats vs 4 MAGA has me worried for the state's future. I already plan to vote for Benson, Stevens and Barr then Dem down the line.

It's hard when your wheelhouse of talking politics and social issues, crashes into the need to heal mentally. I've still taken in the horrible injustice done to the Carmack-Belton family. Cyrus was murdered. It's just exhausting being reminded how unsafe our children are. How we are period.

We are under a flood watch until Sunday. Due to snow melt and heavy rain. Was in the next town ovet most of the day yesterday. Got our car serviced. Picked up the money earned on 3D print sales at our friend's shop. And may have a new client who wants to buy prints to sell at his booths.

Had the home appraiser come out today, hopefully we have enough equity for the new roof. I believe we do, since we've paid over each month on our mortgage. And we've kept our home and the land in great condition. I even baked cookies and sent him off with a box of them.
