This was an amazing Beat Em Up especially considering the genre was really falling out of fashion at the time.

Being in a relationship means opening yourself up to someone you can never fully know - a vulnerability that can be as wonderful as it can be dangerous. There's no saying the "right" thing to safely win someone's heart in Scarlet Hollow, because everyone has their own motivations outside of you.

too many of us go through life's character creator without picking talk to animals. is it that we fear them... are their truths too uncomfortable for us? or is the allure of being hot just too much for us to resist?

This expansion was HUGE! It added so many gameplay modes, the Fantasy mode being my favourite. But the biggest addition IMO was hot seat multiplayer. Multiplayer in 4X was so much fun and wouldn’t be improved apon until Endless Legend's Synchronised Multiplayer.

Felt a bit retro and decided to boot up Sega Genesis Classics for more than a passing look. First off I discovered i am absolute shit at some of these games and found myself abusing the rewind feature. Secondly I found that complaints of input lag were very real and very frustrating to adjust to…

The problem is not being digital. The problem is ownership! With steam you have full access to the game files, you can backup then, you can make a physical copy if u want. At least you have some control. GOG EVEN BETTER, u have COMPLETE ownership, even if its digital! Sony is taking ownership away!

This review isn't even lying btw Scarlet Hollow is THE SHIT. I typically don't super enjoy VNs (at least like, traditional ones) but Scarlet Hollow is a wonderful story game with a lot of great characters and my one of my favorite antagonists with the latest chapter. This game is worth the money

I have been enjoying this series but this is my favourite by far. I hear there's talks of it getting some kind of adaptation and some of the scenes (especially the "escort quest") I NEED to see animated. God, I could see Trigger being interested in animating this.

Die Hard Arcade is quite possibly the greatest arcade beat em up of all time. The gameplay is quick and fun and absolutely invites utter chaos. And it ends in the best beat em up trope: A final fight between player 1 and 2. The rare times the missus and I find a cabinet a game is mandatory.

Today's FINAL OP/ED in this long chain is Tales Of Symphonia OP! One of my all time favorite games! Happy 23rd Birthday Tales Of Symphonia! I've been holding out for this one or I would have stopped this OP/ED chain months ago. I can't think of a grander note to end it on!

Today's OP/ED is GATE OP2! Gate is an interesting reverse Isekai where a failed invasion of Japan from a fantasy world leads the JSDF invading in retaliation. It's pretty good! On a completely different note today is the second last time I post on this chain. These posts haven't been sparking joy

One of the things I was never warned about by those older than me was the horrible feeling you get as the icons you grew up being entertained by die. The older you get the more often it happens and the wirld feels a little smaller and emptier each time.

Today's OP/ED is Bojack Horseman OP1! This show is incredible. I enjoyed it from start to finish, and by god does it have some heavy hitting episodes across its run. I also love its dry and dark sense of humor. There is an entire episode that is 90% monologue and it's so captivating. Try it!

Today's OP/ED is So I'm a Spider, So What OP2! This anime fell apart towards the end of season 2. Animation, even though it was mostly 3D went to hell and there was never any conclusion to the build up of the big fight between the heroes. Then again, Kumiko is the real star of the show.
