I understand why they're doing this, but fuck them. These mayors can't guarantee the safety of their own citizens from ICE, and they sure as hell can't guarantee the safety of Canadian visitors. Also, North Dakota, where 2/3 of voters voted for Trump, wants foreigners to come back? Fuck them twice.

I’ve never lost a minute of sleep worrying about Iran having a nuclear weapon some day. What DOES keep me up at night is the fact that that the ONLY country that has ever used nuclear weapons on a civilian population has them, and their deranged president strikes me as quite willing to use them.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.
