Amend tElection Act 1991: NL NDP will push for all residents of NL to be added automatically to the voters list upon their 16th birthday. One member speaks against this saying it will put added burden on already burden teenagers. Told on a clarification that NDP would push for voting age to be 16.

Lewis says we are in the middle of a climate crisis, it used to be called summer, now it’s called smoke season, Arctic ice is disappearing. We are being left behind in Canada when it comes to adapting environment for the future. St. John's is the first stop on his cross-Canada tour.

Tonight is the vote on the new energy MOU with Quebec and Ottawa. Unless one or more of Premier Wakeham’s PC caucus votes against what’s debated, it could pass 20 for, to 19 against. Setting in motion next stages. Wakeham and Liberal Leader John Hogan were asked about the vote to come.
