1st child—fired for being pregnant, no one would hire a pregnant woman. 1st and only time I was ever fired.
2nd child—1 week off, no pay, told if I didn’t return in 7 days I’d be replaced (I was the Accounting/HR/Safety mgr). This was 1 year before fed protections were a thing.
