Three billionaires gave more than 90% of the money raised by Representative Tom Tiffany, the Republican nominee for governor of Wisconsin, according to state campaign finance reports filed on Wednesday night.

3 Billionaires Have Largely Funded Republican Nominee for Wisconsin Governor
Under its current rules, Wisconsin has not had a race in which a small number of donors have made up such a large share of a campaign’s funding.

You gotta give it to these phone companies. The one thing that would make me switch out a phone is tapping incessantly just to listen to the god damn thing I was just listening to before my partner interrupted me.

Very few libraries have had their budgets restored to their pre-2008 numbers. Now add inflation and sit with that.

Reading Jaclyn Moriarty’s Time Travel for Beginners. I love her conversational writing style. She almost always makes me giggle or laugh, while saying something profound. Might buy it. #booksky

I understand this is not how sports reporting goes when the team is your boss. But not following up with Cubs’ bullpen pitcher when he says, “He learns when we blows a save,” is criminal. As a fan I genuinely want to know when the learning is supposed to kick in.

Cannot stress how much AI is ruining boomers’ minds in this way. My MIL will throw pictures of her dog in the machine so she can see the dog dressed as a medieval knight.

Seeing anti Flock activism is heart warming. Hopefully once you get Flock out of your town you realize the work isn’t done. Your local libraries, schools, community centers, still need you.

My only take in all this is: finding the “best culture/race/battle/history” of anything is not important, dumb, and BORING. Also, pretty racist.

Since the pandemic books have been trash. Glue dries out super fast and makes the binding break. Also what’s up with the pages? We’ve had two come in, lately, with super heavy pages. Which sounds good but just makes the binding break faster.

This exact ability to understand that people interact with their gov’t based on their lived experiences is what progressivism is trying to fix. Establishment politicians are the ones who force a singular experience with the govt on people. This is how people “see the world differently.”

Dear Democrats, This is precisely why you shouldn't move to the right ever, on anything, or try to recreate it in the aggregate. This is why you need to not give an inch on trans rights, immigration, and other GOP talking points. You will always lose if you do. Thanks, Your voter base

It was a Fetch the Bolt Cutters kinda afternoon.
Record player on top of a cabinet with records in shelves below. There is a wooden box with a now playing sign attached to the bottom. The paper protector is in front of the album art. As a result half of a woman’s face is peeking out from the center. The woman’s eye is wide and her cheek is lifted in an apparent playful and wild smile.

Truly unsure if you can actually make changes from the inside to mitigate harm. It’s hard to make changes unless they’re top down. You turn into these people or you follow culture. Either way it makes (made) me doubt who I was as a librarian.
