Using a novel Csf3r-mutant transgenic she found that mutant Asxl1 protects Csf3r-mutant stem cells from depletion over time. Indeed, mice with both Asxl1 and Csf3r mutations have an expansion of myeloid-biased stem cells. (2/4)
