The US National Park Service 'junior ranger' scheme is a fabulous initiative. I was proud to be sworn in this weekend after completing a variety of assignments in a really informative booklet. Who says it's not aimed at professors? We loved it & learned alot.

Absolutely. It's about how clearly mechanism is understood: you don't need a replicated experiment to test if jumping out of plane without prachute will cause injury (see satirical paper below). In grazing example, we understand mechanism so single rep. is convincing. www.bmj.com/content/363/...
