OXFORD TEMPERATURE UPDATE 🌡️ Tuesday’s (23 June) provisional maximum temperature of 34.3°C matched the June record at Oxford’s Radcliffe Meteorological Station, first set on 27 June 1976.

Did you know...most dust storms originate from a tiny fraction of #desert landscapes? Jasem Alabanai's awesome #SeeLikeAGeographer photo shows one such area - the northern tidal flats of Kuwait Bay. At low tide, these mudflats are one of Kuwait's most active dust-emitting surfaces.
