I grew up in a very similar rural evangelical community and seeing people back home suddenly become experts on healthy oils is killing me. I’m not sure they realize canola oil is a seed oil. Growing up, that’s ALL we used (other than lard and butter).

NOOOO that’s the worst. I have the issue where the cartilage where my ribs connect to my sternum gets inflamed and I’m deadass sure I’m dying… Feel better soon! Rib/sternum pain is frustrating because it’s so hard to treat. I hope you find a method that works for you <3

I had ONE opening consult and ONE echocardiogram. And you won’t pay for the follow-up YOU REQUIRED? Because, you see. You can only get one procedure a day. I had the consult last time, so I couldn’t get a monitor or an echo that day. I had the echo today, so the monitor happens Thursday.

I’ve been having some ❤️ scares after going off a medication. It freaked me out enough to get a cardiology consult, which resulted in 2 follow-ups: an echo and event monitoring. I went for the echo today. The secretary told me that United Healthcare won’t pay for any more appointments. EXCUSE ME?
