these are my very basic effect-ts starter templates for single repo projects. github.com/juemrami/eff... its literally just effect + dev tooling (lsp, linting, formatting) No build deps included coz sometimes i swap between `vite build`, `tsdown`/`tsup`, or `tsc --build` depending on the project.

People say hosting your site on a vpn is good way to get some unix essentials/networking experience. It's def better for learning than just always defaulting to a hosting service like vercel. But tbh its nothing compared to the experience i got from setting up my nixos homelab/media server.

talk with your agents and sketch out a spec for every design choice It makes handoff to 'fresh' agents easier and it helps you provide guardrails to generated code and it serves as a record of design choices.

anybody else that uses Vitest/Vite dev server? I keep having an issue with my `working_copy.lock` getting corrupt (thats how im describing it). Causes all my jj commands to block and timeout. Have to delete the .lock file to fix.

I was working on my react PWA today and was having issues getting the 'touchstart' & `touchmove` events to fire on iOS safari, specifically when initiating a touch during momentum scrolling. Its an unsolved crime: stackoverflow.com/questions/49...
