The NYT bureau chief who was caught using a fake AI quote makes about as much money annually as bioGraphic is losing. Funding does not follow quality. What a world we could live in if it did. Support independent, human journalism and publishing.

Some countries are phasing out cruise-ship “scrubber” systems that dump toxic wastewater into the ocean. Alaska lawmakers are now considering similar action to reduce this under-regulated source of marine pollution.
