its been a little over a year since the arcade rhythm game symbiote reached terminal mass and begun taking over my life Around that time i made a listhttpsbackloggdcomujtduckmanlistimpressionsonvariousarcaderhythmgames2ndmix that gave my brief thoughts on each rhythm game as a relatively interested engaged newcomer to the scene Yanno a year really isnt too much time in the grand scheme of things but ive definitely noticed my priorities shift from game to game so much so that i feel a restructuring is necessary I still havent played enough of these modern games for me to give them the proper review treatment exceptions being the really old games that i have been deepdiving so heres my new asofseptember2026 thoughts and priorities between rhythm games Why didnt I do this when i updated the previous list and named it 2ndmix simple the second mix is always just an expanded version of the first i hope reading this gets ya looking to go to your local round 1 bowling and entertainment i cannot stress enough that we are currently living in an arcade rhythm game golden age that is borderline unprescedented in having these games be accessible as always this is going to be ordered by if i was in an arcade and all these games were lined up what am i putting a credit into first
