i hate to be the ackshually guy here but the aspect ratio for wii games is set in the system settings, whether or not it is properly scaled is up to your tv or potentially whatever scaler is in the HDMI converter

110

Jtduckman @jtduckman.bsky.social · 15/10/2026

ah it might be your TV getting the signal for a 480p output and thinking it's 4:3 if u want u could go to ur wii and tvs settings to display in anamorphic widescreen, plenty of games use it and it fills the screen

...is there any particular reason why you have your wii in 4:3 mode on a 16:9 TV like i respect that your TV is set to display it correctly ive just never seen many setups displayed that way

it’s been a minute and if youre wondering how this is going, all the imas en account does is post random images of imas characters and translate some gameplay but are not actually localizing any games. sidem got a new game announced and this account was dead quiet. some great replies

my favourite line i've read in a Galactic Racer review

Screenshot of an article reading: "The heart of Galactic Racer is your Scouse-coded, four-armed alien ape mechanic doing significant levels of fraud so she can weld together a death machine that’s about to turn the wife of rival podracer Temu Pringles into a fucking widow."

This is half on collectors that (understandably) don't want to scan their extremely rare and priceless old game posters out of fear of damaging them/devaluing them by way of using the scans to make bootlegs and half on konami for straight up not making posters for most of their new games

the state of gitadora on IGDB is honestly depressingly sad and i want to change it to do the series justice but also in order to do that i actually need cover art for these things and bemani game poster scans might as well be in the ark of the goddamn covanent

Cars in Magic Knight Rayearth, a thread: Zagato Zagato is a design house rather than a manufacturer, so I’ll go with the roughly contemporary 1989 Alfa Romeo SZ as an example. Mamoru in Sailor Moon drives one, too.
