I doubt it'll ever happen, cuz this is an US product and the US hates acknowledging the Master System, *but* one of these for the MS version of Sonic 1 would be massive for me That was definitively the first Sonic game, and possibly even the first game in general I ever played

Something cool I'm working on with @royfla100.com... Here's a small showcase of the Sonic Advance Museum. It's a bring-your-own-ROMs launcher for the GBA Sonic titles, sort of a proof of concept for what an official collection would look like. Full credits (so far) available in the replies.

...who was bound to show up again at some point. I'm sure with in time I'll just accept one true founding, cuz all my energy to dislike it will just be ground out of me, but for now I just think this situation sucks

...he's just gloom that happen to take the shape of a man. Instead of being someone who so angry he refuse to die and managed to come back (in the Adult and Child timelines), or stay in power (Fallen timeline), while keeping his own sense of self, he's just an echo of TotK's Ganondorf...

I'm not saying that this story angle they decided to take doesn't work, I'm saying that the fact that they went in this direction *at all* is what bothers me. Even if it works, in my eyes it takes away from OoT Ganondorf, cuz instead of being his own guy with his own ambitions...

JT @jt.buneerstudio.com · 16/09/2026

I've already said that I can see how, in-lore, they've taken the time to add enough details that it makes enough sense The only few Zelda-focused accounts I follow have been posting the same points you just made over and over again, I get it.

I don't want to make it seem like I'm just dismissing this whole thread that you've made, but I feel like you're missing what I'm trying to get at or *I'm* missing how your thread relates to my point

"In Memoriam" A little one pager me and @scourgefrontiers.bsky.social came up with. Their art really makes it stand out. The hope for the writing was to dig into more of Bruce and Shadow's parallels. We hope you enjoy. #sonicthehhedgehog #batman #dc

Writer: Lorenzo Antonio Hall
Artist: ScourgeFrontiers/Cal

Page One: (7 Panels)

Panel 1- Establishing the scene. We see SPACE COLONY ARK in space. Earth is distant. If one’s feeling ambitious, we can put in other details like Sonic’s Shattered Moon or the Justice League Watch Tower in the distance.

Caption (Batman)
So, this facility is where you were created?

Caption (Shadow)
Yes. This is where I lived, and where I lost my family.

Panel 2- From the outside, we view into a window on the Ark. Batman and Shadow are standing in the room where Maria passed. There might be a crack/shatter on the window to symbolize the bullet that killed Maria.

Shadow
This room is where Maria was taken from me.

Panel 3- Batman’s expression is stoic as he listens to Shadow. He’s reminded of his own past as he listens.

Shadow (off panel)
It was the one time in my life where, for all my power, I was helpless…

Afterwards, between the Professor’s unraveling and my own grief… All I knew was the desire for revenge.

Panel 4- Near match, but Batman’s expression is slightly softer. He understands and knows even his words won’t salve that wound.

Batman
…I’m sorry.

Panel 5- Inside the room, Shadow looks up at Batman, who looks down at Shadow.

Shadow
The time for regret has passed. It wasn’t long ago that I was able to get some closure, but sometimes I wonder…

Though my cause is in their memory…If they knew all I had done, would they approve of the way I protect the world they so loved?

Panel 6- Batman looks at the bullet spot and speaks to Shadow, who still looks to him.

Batman
We can only wonder, but you know in your heart why that pain exists.

And you know why it is important to protect others from feeling that same pain.

Panel 7- Shadow’s arms are folded. He’s not smiling, but there’s a contentedness. Batman should be standing near, ready to move on.

Shadow
So even in their darkest moments they won’t have to lose that hope

Batman
Couldn’t have said it better.

I hope I'm not coming off like a flat-earther type, just explaining away any evidence that goes against my current beliefs I'm just finding coming to terms with that is way more frustrating than just believing it's a refounding

JT @jt.buneerstudio.com · 16/09/2026

I do see how the in-game text and the books explain how it all the evidence works But I truly fail to see how TotK's Ganondorf being the first is *a more interesting concept* than OoT's in the first place

JT @jt.buneerstudio.com · 16/09/2026

I've been seeing similar threads so much recently that I genuinely thought I had already read yours, only to notice you just posted it In any case, I don't feel those points really do anything to what I said before?

JT @jt.buneerstudio.com · 16/09/2026

This is a bit of a tangent, but there's also the matter of a FSA Only real reason I can think of for it to be all the way at the end of the child timeline, instead of right after FS, is cuz having a Ganondorf incarnation show up before kinda diminishes the importance of his introduction in OoT

JT @jt.buneerstudio.com · 16/09/2026

Especially since we *still* don't really have a good reason for her to be named "the 1st" lore wise, which makes it pretty messy and yet to be cleaned in a satisfying way Having two Ganondorfs simultaneously feels to me like they're actively *adding* messiness to the lore for no reason
