Plus, this part would refute TokT's Ganondorf being Calamity Ganon, no? OoT's *was* a male Gerudo leader, so he couldn't show up after TotK if that's the case. unless I'm also misreading this

I thought the both the writer here and Urbosa were just using the more recent name to refer to past forms for convenience's sake, with only the "gaseous" form actually being directly called "Calamity Ganon", because of how it goes through each title

Diamond Cutters × Star Fox! Commission for @bluefin.bsky.social #JTArt | #Sonic | #SonicIDW | #StarFox |
An illustration of the Diamond Cutters team, from the IDW Sonic comics, drawn as Star Fox characters.

The characters (Whisper The Wolf, Tangle The Lemur, Lanolin The Sheep & Duo The Cat) are framed like the character select sprites from Star Fox 2, with them front-facing the camera while inside an Arwing's cockpit.
The composition has Whisper on a big square at the top, while the others are lined up on smaller squares at the bottom.

Each character is wearing clothes similar to the ones worn by the Star Fox team, only with the Restoration symbol (from Sonic Forces) on their left shoulder, and scarves color-matched to each respective character (cyan for Whisper, yellow for Tangle, green for Lanolin, and dark gray for Duo). They also have microphones attached on the left of their faces, with the exception of Duo, who is the odd one out wearing both a microphone and a scouter on his right side.

The Arwing background changes for each character to match the model they probably would use, with both Whisper and Duo having the regular all-rounder Arwing, Tangle using the speedy Light Arwing, and Lanolin flying the bulkier Armored Arwing.

Was looking at the PureRef file I compiled for this and noticed a cool trend among the logos With one small exception (ALBW), you can tell pretty well in what "era" a game was released by looking at how the "Zelda" is stylized
A grid with multiple logos from the Zelda franchise, separated into 7 columns:
- Early Franchise: The Legend of Zelda; The Adventure of Link.
- Classic TopDown: A Link to the Past; Link's Awakening.
- Capcom Collab: Oracle of Seasons; Oracle of Ages; Four Swords; The Minish Cap.
- Classic 3D: Ocarina of Time; Majora's Mask; Twilight Princess; Skyward Sword.
- Toon Era: The Wind Waker; Four Swords Adventures; Phantom Hourglass; Spirit Tracks; Triforce Heroes.
- Modern TopDown: A Link Between Worlds (being the exception mentioned in the caption), Link's Awakening (2019); Echoes of Wisdom.
- Modern 3D: Breath of the Wild; Tears of the Kingdom; Ocarina of Time (2026).

I always though it was weird how the US box art for Wind Waker HD had this yellow overlay that's not present in the JP version But I was going through ZeldaWiki's box art gallery earlier today (as one does), and noticed this was actually a fairly consistent feature of the US box arts up until ALBW
The North American and Japanese box arts for Zelda Wind Waker HD side by side. The overall artwork in both is the same, with Link in the middle and various other important characters around him, but the North American version has a distinct golden tint over everything except Link.Collage of all games in the Zelda franchise that share this golden overlay on the North American box art, each displayed beside their Japanese counterpart.
In order: The Legend of Zelda; Zelda II: The Adventure of Link; The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past; The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past + Four Swords; The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening; The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX; The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time; The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D; The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker; The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD; The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass; The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword; and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

ST's feels like they just photoshopped a few stock pieces together and called it a day (probably actually the case) I tried making a mockup that's a bit closer to PH's, but I still feel like they should've gone with a unique artwork instead of collaging stock ones
020
JT @jt.buneerstudio.com · 21/02/2026
But even if you compare with what they were probably actually aiming for (US' Phantom Hourglass), it *still* falls short, because at least PH's actually looks like a piece made specifically for the box art (though PH has the same "'cool' box art in US, pretty box art in EU/JPN" problem)

A 3D render of the character Joke-Explainer 7000™, from the YouTube channel SiIvaGunner.
The model is rendered in a flat, cel-shaded style, with shadows and highlights manually drawn into the character's texture.

Joke-Explainer is a small robot, having a small body; a big head, with an antenna ending in a yellow sphere that features a face based on the character Wood Man, from the Mega Man series; hip-length dark purple hair, that she ties into two low pigtails, with bangs swept to her right side; yellow screen-like eyes, with hollowed out circles to represent her pupils: yellow spherical hands; legs that end on small nubs instead of feet; and boosters at the end of each of her pigtails, allowing her to fly.

This render features Joke-Explainer's regular design, which is directly based on the character Nozomi Tojo, from the japanese multimedia series Love Live.
She is wearing a dark blue blazer worn over a white collared shirt, a teal bowtie, dark purple knee-high socks and a pleated blue skirt.

She is posing flying with her booster while looking at the camera, smiling and winking with her left eye, and slightly covering her mouth with her left hand.A 3D render of the character Joke-Explainer 7000™, from the YouTube channel SiIvaGunner.

This render features Joke-Explainer's design from the "BOMBERTRACKS" album, in which her hair color is changed to white, having stylized dark blue shadows, and her hands and antenna are changed to pink.
She is wearing a typical japanese school uniform: a white blouse attached with a blue sailor-style collar, a pink ribbon tied in the front of the blouse, and a blue pleated skirt. The collar and skirt have a white stripe along their bottom edge, and the middle of the collar features a small white icon of a cartoon bomb.
She is also wearing and black belt with golden details, a black pouch attached to the belt, a black backpack, white knee-high socks with pink tips, a cyan armband and a hairclip of Bomberman's protagonist White Bomber's face.

Joke-Explainer is posing jumping in the air, with her right arm close to her body and left arm stretched upwards, holding a cartoon bomb. She's smiling with her mouth open, and both her and the small face on her antenna are winking with their right eye.

Lotta things happened on the SiIvaGunner discord server with the ARG going on, and one of them was the spawning of these two creatures, Cipher-Explainer and ARG-Explainer #siivagunner
Digital sketch of two robot characters with chibi-like proportions. The middle of the drawing consists of the two characters posing in a similar-yet-mirrored manner while holding hands, while each corner features a front facing drawing of each of the characters.
The two characters are directly based on Joke-Explainer 7000, a reoccurring character of the SiIvaGunner YouTube channel that is in turn based on a particular fanart of Tojo Nozomi, a character from the game/anime Love Live.
On the left is Cipher-Explainer, drawn in blue. CE's wearing a mesh baseball cap featuring the gaijingoomba logo, a closed suit with a tie and has short twintails. She's gleefully smiling.
On the right is ARG-Explainer, draw in red. AE is wearing a mario-like hat, an open suit jacket over a plain t-shirt and has a single, long ponytail. She's also smiling, but with a more chill look on her eyes.

- Shiro Tachibana, com a mesma aparência da imagem vista anteriormente, mas agora é possível observar que ela tem olhos laranjas e veste um par de meias brancas na altura dos joelhos e um par de chinelos japoneses de madeira pretos. Ela tem uma expressão neutra, com os olhos bem abertos;
- Fiori Nero, com cabelos num tom roxo escuro na altura do queixo e raspados no lado direito, vestindo um sobretudo roxo sem mangas, uma camisa preta também sem mangas, calças da mesma cor que seus cabelos e um par de tênis marrons com detalhes em amarelo. Ela também usa artigos de arquearia, como uma proteção no braço esquerdo, uma luva na mão direita, um peitoral cobrindo o lado direito e uma aljava na parte de trás de sua cintura, todos pretos ou marrons com detalhes em amarelo;
- Elektra Marigold, também com a mesma aparência que anteriormente, cabelos na altura do ombro em um degradê de vermelho para amarelo, vestindo um casaco sem mangas amarelo, com cauda longa de um lado, e flores do outro, calças pretas e tenis e luvas vermelhas;
