An attempt at a gold-dotted flatworm using beads for the spots. I wasn't super satisfied with how it came out, but. Spotty! [ #crochet #amigurumi #worm #flatworm #platyhelminthes #golddottedflatworm #commsopen ]

A crocheted flatworm with many wibbles along its sides. The body is dark purple, with a lot of small yellow spots made out of beads, and a border of white around the edge. Subsequent photos show the same flatworm from different angles.

A flatworm, but wibblier this time, because I love the hyperbolic shapes crochet can make! This guy was loosely based off a Hancock's Flatworm, though there's a couple other species that look similar, too. [ #crochet #amigurumi #worm #flatworm #platyhelminthes #hancock'sflatworm #commsopen ]

A crocheted flatworm with very wibbly, ripply sides and two little points resembling ears or horns at the front. The body is dark purple, with a stripe of pinkish-orange and then pale yellow around the edge. Subsequent photos show the same flatworm from different angles and with different levels of visual wibbliness to its sides. The wibbles can be posed into fewer big wibbles or lots of smaller wibbles!

(Kittyloaf pattern was me jumping ahead to the present in what I'm posting on my tumblr, but here is otherwise still a month or two behind. We will soon return to your regularly-scheduled tumblr crosspost catch-up, next stop Flatworm City.)

Another beaded snake, this one for a commission! The client wanted a toy for their young kid, whose favourite colour is yellow, so I made a sunny little noodle! [ #crochet #amigurumi #snake #fidgettoy #stimtoy #commsopen ]

An amigurumi snake with beads all along its body and black bead eyes. The yarn it's made from is two different shades of yellow, and the beads are red, orange, yellow and pale orange. This photo shows the snake curled up, while the next photo shows the same snake in a twisty wiggly pose.

A lil' flatworm I made after seeing a video of this species crawling around on freshwater crabs. Temnosewellia aff. vietnamensis, apparently. Just a lil' guy! [ #crochet #amigurumi #worm #flatworm #platyhelminthes #commsopen ]

A crocheted flatworm. It is pale pink and only about three times as long as it is wide. Five small tentacle-like appendages extent from its front, and it has tiny black bead eyes.

The same crocheted flatworm, viewed from the side. As the name implies, it is rather flat (but not completely so).

An anglerfish made with sparkly thread! Pattern by ComplicatedKnots on Youtube. [ #crochet #amigurumi #anglerfish #fish #commsopen ]

A crocheted anglerfish with semi-realistic proportions (big mouth and many teeth!). The body is sparkly turquoise, while the lower jaw and fins are sparkly dark blue. The bulb of its lure is yellowish-orange.

I'd like to start offering commissions on #VGen if possible, and I know some of my followers are already artists there. If anyone had a spare #VGenCode they were willing to DM my way, I'd be super grateful!

A Pombon! With different colours because I lacked the right orange. I wrote down the pattern, so there may be more doggo developments sometime in the future... [ #crochet #amigurumi #pokemon #pokemonfanart #pokemonwiwa #pombon #commsopen ]

A crocheted Pombon. Rather than light orange and red, it's pale brown and reddish copper brown, because light orange yarn is practically nonexistent apparently. Also I lost yarn chicken with the pale brown, so the tip of the tail is copper brown where it shouldn't be. Subsequent photos show the same Pombon from different angles.

A Sneasel! He looks a bit different from canon , because this was made to match someone's OC Sneasel design. [ #crochet #amigurumi #pokemon #pokemonfanart #pokemonOC #sneasel #commsopen ]

A crocheted male Sneasel. He has a smaller head in proportion to his body than the canon design, some extra fluff on his face and shoulders, and a slightly ragged ear feather. Subsequent photos show the same Sneasel from different angles.

A Heracross commission for a friend, who wanted a female one specifically, because all the official merch of it is male. The perks of custom commissions! [ #crochet #amigurumi #pokemon #pokemonfanart #heracross #commsopen ]

A crocheted Heracross. Since she's female, her horn has a rounded "scoop" shape instead of a spikier one. She has a determined expression in her eyes, with her arms raised as if ready to fight. Miraculously, she is standing unsupported on just her two legs. Subsequent photos show the same Heracross from different angles.

And not to leave out: Barok van Zieks's fluffier alter ego, Nyan Zieks! (Low quality photos because he went to live with a friend of mine before I got a better camera.) [ #crochet #amigurumi #aceattorney #thegreataceattorney #tgaa #dgs #commsopen ]

A crocheted Barok van Zieks in chibi animal doll form, aka Nyan Zieks. He is a purple cat with long ears and an unamused expression. He wears a black top hat and a navy cloak with gold trim.

Nyan Zieks, now without his cloak (it's removable!). The rest of his fancy outfit is now visible, including his cravat, prosecutor's badge, gold shoulder pauldrons, long white gloves and long black boots, and a sword at his right hip.

Nyan Zieks, with the cloak, standing in between Chuunosuke and Klawzuma (from the quoted tweet). Nyak Zieks is considerably taller than either of them, without even counting his top hat.

Ryunosuke Naruhodo and Kazuma Asogi from The Great Ace Attorney - or rather, their chibi animal versions, Chuunosuke and Klawzuma! [ #crochet #amigurumi #aceattorney #thegreataceattorney #tgaa #commsopen ]

Crocheted versions of Ryunosuke Naruhodo and Kazuma Asogi in chibi animal doll form. Ryunosuke, or Chuunosuke, is a white mouse with big white ears that have a blue flower pattern in them. Kazuma, or Klawzuma, is a brown and white cat, still with the fringe that he has as a human. Both are wearing dark brown Japanese university uniforms. Chuunosuke wears his dark brown university cap, while Klawzuma wears his red fluttering headband, his gold lawyer's armband, and a belt carrying his sheathed katana. They are standing together with their arms around each other's shoulders as much as little chibi dolls can.

Just Klawzuma, seen from the side to get a better look at his armband and katana, as well as his fluttering headband (which can be adjusted to flutter at different angles depending on the photograph).

Just Chuunosuke, but now he's wearing Klawzuma's armband and has Klawzuma's katana at his hip, wrapped in the red headband. The armband and katana are removable and can be put on either Klawzuma or Chuunosuke!
