My first in-the-theater movie was (almost) “Ghostbusters.” But when the nice floaty librarian ghost flipped on Peter, Ray, and Egon, I lost my shit. Mom had to take me next door to see ”Muppets Take Manhattan” instead. Not the worst trade! I was 4.

Worked for an R1 computer science research lab a decade ago. Grad students were testing out AI, but they quickly ran into its fatal flaw — a complete inability to innovate. It could only look to what had been done in the past. Knowledge became frozen at the moment you switched to AI.
