I've decided my head canon is that, since it's essentially the same set from TMP to TNG, the Enterprise-A was testing out the new "pulse" style warp core as an upgrade from the "swirl"-style core from the refit Enterprise.

New Music Friday is the (Continued) edition of Carly Rae Jepsen's Day and Night, with eight new tracks. I am not a fan of this recent trend of putting out special editions a couple of weeks after the album is released, and I'm sure that this is Taylor Swift's fault. But. It's Carly Rae.
iTunes page of Carly Rae Jepsen's Day and Night (Continued), but only the additional eight tracks.

Disc 1
13. Reaching for a Star
14. Sixteen and Rising
15. Wedding Season
16. Lullaby

The auto sector lobbyists were on the Hill today to call for resumption of negotiations to get tariff-free access to the auto sector back. The UAW wants to maintain the sector 232 tariffs on the auto sector. Canada's auto sector needs to start rethinking the entire industry in this country.

C-22 is a Very Bad Bill, but I remain unconvinced that the Senate will meaningfully amend it. We will probably see a few half-hearted amendments proposed and defeated, the bill will pass, and senators will engage in a round of self-congratulation for how "independent" they are.
