Today I run a mystery game inspired by Clue. We used the cards for the game, Master Detective version, and I asked them to dm me what they got, then I improved the rest. It was really fun, by the end everyone was pointing fingers at everyone. And they want to do it again! TTRPGs are fun.

This set of observations is produced by my scrolling Reddit and otherwise listening to people talk about "how to write." A) there is no requirement that any of your characters has any sort of "arc" let alone a redemption. B) there is also no requirement that your fiction has a plot.
