Here’s a wedding dress made from Harris Tweed (it’s in the museum at Lews Castle in Stornoway on the isle of Lewis)

2009. Alyth, from Sandwick won the National Mod
Gold medal in 1997, released her debut album in 2000 and has gone on to tour worldwide.
The tweed was made at Carloway Mill from lamb's wool and is lined in linen with blue satin. It has been hand embellished with pearls and glass beads.

Slightly less than 9 years ago, after buying my Wee Ruadh and discovering it did not have a cd player, I started listening to *all* the music I own on my iPod in alphabetical order. Today, on the way to work, ‘ZZ Top Goes to Egypt’ by Camper Van Beethoven came on and the saga is complete.
