I’m holding “Wensleydale” by Izzie P. Behind me is a bookshelf full of comics (yes, those Moomins collections are 🔥). I’m wearing a vest with “Peanuts” characters on it, and Snoopy looks particularly pleased with my purchase. Also my sideshave makes me very happy

[picture in your head that I am singing this to you:] I went to the ice cream parlour! I went to the ramen place! I chomped down a mango sorbet! I slurped up a few sakés!

I’m on College Green in Bristol, just getting started on the waffle cone element of my mango sorbet cone. I’m cross legged and there’s blurring round the edge of the frame and compositionally this is identical to “The Fat of the Land” by the Prodigy

Ramen bowl with pork (yes!), half an egg (oh yes!), spring onions (woohoo!), some brown stuff that was great (hell yeah!) and some nori too (kaboooooooooom)

My partner Lou is lovely and tries her best but so many of her photos of me frame out the top of my head. Fair enough, she’s 5’7” and I’m 6’5”, but we were both sitting down here so that’s barely a factor. I think she was more interested in the gorgeous saké bottle and cup on the table than she was in me. And honesty my eyes are looking really good here, like a 9-year-old learning to draw manga eyes good
