75 coalition aircraft were lost in the Gulf War (1991). The Iraq War (2003–2011) saw totals under 80 per war phase, for a grand total of 153 US military aircraft over 8 years. During the Afghanistan War (2001–2021) some 167 US military aircraft were destroyed over 20 years. This is 80 in 7 months.

I remember my father telling me how anti trust laws worked as a kid. Something like "Well son, we have laws where one electric company can't just buy all the OTHER electric companies. Urbain Grandier's alleged diabolical pact produced as primary evidence during the Loudun possessions witchcraft trial in France in 1634. The purported contract was written in reverse Latin and signed backward or in coded script. It stated that Grandier traded his soul for earthly pleasures, power, and the love of women for 20 years.
