Noem was confused by the question and defaulted to a different claim ICE makes; that 70% of people *arrested* by ICE have a prior criminal record or pending charges (also way down from January 2025). As I've documented, that hasn't been true for MONTHS.

The chart shows that from October 2025 through around April 2025, roughly 80% of people arrested by ICE had at least some prior conviction or pending charge. That began falling in May, dropping to around 60% in June through August, then falling down to 55% in October 2025.

Bondi shooting- Jerusalem Times reports only 2 officers assigned to event. India Time reports 4 other officers fled area during shooting. Three civilians- Ahmed al Ahmed and Boris & Sofia Burman, a couple in their 60s, all shot or killed by the shooter, had much better luck disarming them.
