Just cancelled my #netflix Subscriber since 2013! Time was it would have been unthinkable getting rid of it, but now, it just doesn’t feel like a place for good stuff anymore. I’ll be fine with Apple, and Disney, AND Crunchyroll, AND Prime…

Why did I wait this long to play Dragon Quest Builders? This game rocks.

Sometimes I feel like if I could just get a good night’s sleep, I’d be able to write 10,000 words the next day. I never end up getting a good night’s sleep.

It’s frustrating that my excitement for any new third party game on Switch 2 is almost always soured by the fact that it’s only a key card release. I just want to own actual copies of the games I buy.

Final Fantasy Tactics. Okay, I get it now. It’s like a whole unique experience in gaming. I’d played the Tactics Advanced games before, but the original is a whole other thing.

In case there was ever any doubt, the only reason the right complained about cancel culture was because they weren't doing the canceling.

Everything is bad, but books are good. Get a book. Read the book. Cherish the book. Finish the book. Tell your friends about the book, and leave a review of the book. Hold the book close. Listen to what it tells you. Do as it commands. Place it on the dread altar and let it guide your every choice.

Enjoyed the hell out of #Superman. Big, bold, beautiful. A bit messy at the start, maybe? But the whole film is so damn earnest that by the time you reach the end, you’ve already forgiven and fallen in love.

My newest #Fantasy #ebook, LORELEI THE SLAYER, is currently #free on #Kindle, until June 22nd. It's all about fighting back against oppression. Also, stealing cool swords. Get it here: mybook.to/loreleithesl...

A book cover for Lorelei the Slayer, showing a young woman in a red dress, holding a katana, leaping backwards from an attacking shadow.

Playing Xenoblade Chronicles X again is an amazing experience. The sheer sense of expanse stretching out before you blows me away. Not at all surprised, however, that I struggled with this game in its original release. There is so much to learn in the opening hours.

Okay so I’m back on the Wheel of Time series and damn this is good. It’s doing for fantasy on the small screen what the Expanse did for sci-fi. Somehow, Amazon studios know what they’re doing when it comes to adaptations like these!

I’m interested in hiring an #artist to create the cover for my short story. Art style I’m interested in is reminiscent of Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy). Paid gig (of course). DM me if interest or if you know anyone that would be a good fit!

No matter what the outcome, history and the world will remember Zelenskyy as a war hero and politician of absolute moral fortitude. Trump will be remembered as a petulant child, the very worst America had to offer. A spasm of national weakness and embarrassment.

Watching the new Spider-Man series and there’s plenty that I like, but top of the list is how colourful it is and how it’s mostly unconnected to any shared-universe nonsense. Breath of fresh air.
