I think we need tigher constraints on the lower limit of planetary mass at this stage to say anything definitive, but it is certainly begining to look like the temperatures are much higher than first though and any possible H2O cold trapping is getting less likely.

This, but also at the same time we need to let habitability not be the only motivator for exoplanet studies and move into population level studies. There is so much to be learned from the Jovian short period planets too #exoplanets

The giant ring transit ASASSN-21js is following the model prediction we made in our paper last year - the latest ASASSN data shows a slower rise than expected, but still consistent with a ringed disk. We still predict it finishing somewhere in 2026. 🔭🪐 #astrodon

I honestly get a thrill when I see Astro PhD students from our region leading papers that add to the exciting body of science that astronomers don’t have all the answers for as yet. Even more so when those papers drop in the big journals. This is a shout out to PhD students everywhere! 🙌🏽❤️
