I think another part of it is that Mutants are always an allegory for [insert oppressed identity here]. To see them thriving in a home they made for themselves, and the stories around how the rest of humanity was like: "NO I HATE THIS FOR THEM" was probably uncomfortable for a lot of people.

You do not fit in here, says the majority in panel one to the minority.

The minotiry creates a small square and says: "ok we will make our own place"

The majority says; "Why are you excluding us", the minorities say: "Oh no"

They're all crammed in the small square now, and the majority says: "You do not fit in here"

I imagine some, but not all, leap at the chance to use Gen AI because of the creative expression they feel in making something. I wish they had been given that freedom when they were younger; allowed to draw and write and act and sing, instead of being told that they were bad.

2 - I can sense, within many people who use AI, the desire to be able to express the creativity at a level they deem "Good". So much of our culture was like mine before; elitist. Because being an artist takes work that is constantly derided for being worthless or of no value to society.
