Love that this is bubbling up again. 2dX is a better resolution mechanic than 1dX for players. The more predictable results are more in line with player psychology.

This is a recent response to a point I made in an interview, talking about how there's this sense online that RPGs should not be fun for the GM. They should be rewarding. And that if an RPG becomes sufficiently fun? Then it's really a board game or a video game in disguise.
