transmisogyny is just misogyny with extra steps. it was always about controlling how we define women so that they fit a profile consistent with cishetero men's desires and "gender critical" feminists played right into it. now any woman who doesn't look "feminine enough" is in the crosshairs.

I have 2 professors this semester who are hammering in hand-writing and hard copies over typing and digital. Please don't tell them but... they're right. For me at least, I am able to engage with the material so much better if I have a printed copy.

I definitely think AAA game prices going up is not some simple expression of cost, though it sometimes is! It is mostly greed and bad decision making. Also, games as a hobby is so layered and rich you simply do not need to spend a ton to enjoy it! Break yourself of your attachment to The Big Thing.

A fun thing about having vaso-vago syncope responses to healthcare stuff is, I warn the person, they laugh and think, "Nah no big deal," and then when I (6'4" 250 pound dude) pass out on them, they freak out and call code red. I'm not *consciously* afraid of needles, my body just does that.
