This Packers game might be the worst football broadcast I've ever seen. Dead air, playing audio from a DIFFERENT GAME, cutting away as things happen on the field in the background. Take away Fox's NFL broadcast deal and fire everyone involved. My god.

this is the kind of design costume designers make to tell you who are the bad guys in a space movie

Donald Trump posts an image on his Truth Social account. It shows a new uniform for US Space Force members, comprising of an all-black outfit with knee-high black leather boots, black cap, and minimalist looking suit.

Really enjoying Zero Company but my two notes are one, the Overwatch ability has a lot of bugs and regularly breaks. And two, why does my computer sound like that when the game is running?

Damn, new Spider-Man might be the best Spider-Man film i've seen. Live action, at least, Spiderverse is still untouchable.

Okay so the new He-Man movie does in fact kick ass. Marketing failed this movie, did you guys know it's the same director as Kubo and the Two Strings? I didn't, and I saw A LOT of ads for this movie. Bad ads, but ads.

Loved the Dave the Diver DLC (minus perhaps the beetle battle system) but what sick bastard (complimentary) came up with that ending sequence? Absolutely diabolical. I need to hear how that got both pitched and approved. Was it a big stretch to get there? Did you really have to pull for it?

000

John Tearpock @johntearpock.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Pretty sure the Dave the Diver DLC took so long to release because the entire team was very clearly playing a lot of Expedition 33.

More context on this #Artemis II image: * This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right * The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon: ☀️🌍🚀🌕

A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)

I've been running gdcparties.com for a few years now. Some shitty company BlueberryAI decided they'd just take all the source code for the work I've done and reskin it, advertising it as their own. Jokes on them...it was still linked to my events spreadsheet, and now their website looks like this 😉

Least favorite design choice in games, enemies who dramatically alter their normal attack animations to hit you because you dodged .1 seconds too early. Ya no, it's fine that you went from taking a tiny baby step forwards to instantly turning 90 degrees and warping 5 meters. Super fun.
