I hadn't heard of this event until now. I would have loved to have gone to an LGBTQ romance book event. The organiser claims she a has a large wait list of those who couldn't get a table so why won't she refund those who don't want to attend because of her behaviour.

This is a cool way to support the amazing RNLI. They're called "Betty's 5p pots". You can pick them up at RNLI shops (or you can use a jar of your own!) You collect your 5p's in it & when it's full, you drop it into them and they replace it with a new pot. Just thought i'd mention it.

A small jam jar, with a Lifeboats sticker on the lid. Next to it is two 5p pieces.

The sitting MP got 22k votes in a joke election where a novelty candidate got nearly 10k, and has thus beaten the establishment or something, at a cost of some £300k to the taxpayer. Cool. Can we now get back to the parliamentary standards enquiry into that £5million bung?
