Got this far. That's the easy bit of the floor that's going under the bath. On to the shower recess next, which will involve a few tricky cuts to get the right fall down to the waste. For now though, it's time for smoko. My ears are ringing from the noise of the grinder I use to cut tiles.

As someone who worked for 5 years or so as a cab driver, I loved this movie, and I wish I could find a good subtitled copy. The bit with Roberto Begnini trying to receive confession from the priest in his taxi was bloody hilarious.

New record for the single most expensive delivery I have ever had to deliver. 2 pallets of medicinal cannabis and oil. Around 400kg all up, so somewhere between 1 and 2 million. Enough to make me nervous. Imagine if I got held up.

All done. 4 chicken breasts simmering in a yoghurt and korma paste sauce, with carrots, broccoli and spinach because that's what I had in the fridge. Let it simmer down for half an hour then put some rice and naan bread on.

It all goes in one pan, chicken, korma paste, spices and seasonings. With a generous dollop of yoghurt.

Busy day. 9 hours on the road. $600 car service and fix oil leak and replace squeaky belt. It still needs more work. Meanwhile I must find the time and money for another MRI on my neck. Been a year since I herniated my c5/c6 spine and I have radial nerve pain in my left arm again.

Back to the bathroom today. Trying to get my head around how I'm going to tile around the waste and get my fall correct. Lots of cutting and measuring in my future.

Currently sitting at the airport with a load of airplane wheels which are just in the wrong place for the forklift driver to get hold of. He's been trying for 20 minutes and has finally resorted to manhandling them over. Good luck, they're probably 100kg each.
