I almost forgot to mention it because I crammed it in the middle of a busy day, but I went to another protest Saturday. This time on the bridge between Lewiston and Auburn. It felt good to see so many drivers giving us things up and honking for us. Only a few middle fingers.

I went to the hands off Maine protest today in Augusta. 5 times more people than the city thought were gonna be there showed up (600 vs 3k). They had to close more of the road in a hurry to accommodate all of us. Lots of people driving by cheered, honked, etc... it felt good.

I noticed something interesting at my local grocery store this morning. The price of pasture raised eggs (hens have a minimum of 108 sqft/bird) hasn't really gone up, but the price of "regular" eggs is going up. Regular eggs were $7.99, but pasture raised was $7.49.🧵

I prefer "We tried to warn you" over "I told you so". The later is more of an attack; people get defensive when attacked. The former gives more grace. We need people who voted for Trump to join the resistance if our nation is to survive.

I have pretty much stopped using Facebook for the last month or so. I logged in today to check on my friends in California. At least 5 friends have lost their homes in altadena. That kind of fire spread into the neighborhoods is hard to imagine. 😢
