One Nation says AI is coming for Australian jobs then used AI to make their campaign video.
They didn’t hire an Aussie videographer or Aussie editor or Aussie actors.
Turns out it’s only ‘Australian jobs first’ when One Nation doesn’t have to pay.

Australia has outlawed credit card surcharges at the checkout. Some businesses are absorbing the cost, some have increased prices, and some now have a "daily surcharge" (which is questionable). Businesses can give cash discounts

This references OpenAI's hack of government data that came to light last week of which the Australian govt had not previously been aware. Now it seems that the government's cyber security geniuses weren't aware of a second hack that OpenAI has put up its hand to. How many other hacks are hiding?

Deepfakes are getting harder to spot. So is the truth
Deepfakes can fool voters, but new research points to a deeper danger: genuine political footage is increasingly being dismissed as fake. As Victoria heads towards its November election, scepticism itself may become a vulnerability.
