Received a company-wide email just now. Appears my employer has decided to join other institutions with adding MLK Jr Day & Presidents Day to our “company observed paid holidays” list beginning next year. That jump us from 7 to 9 paid holidays—or, 2 more chances to gain extra working the holidays.

Decided to enter the early 21st Century and got a BluRay player. Was about time, some might say…especially after getting a —more— modern TV than the 2000/2001 era rear projection unit in my living room. It’s a Sony with a small-ish form factor. Testing it with a niche subject DVD. IYKYK.
