NEW — DOGE now has full access to HHS Payment Management System, I’ve learned. The system distributes almost $1 trillion per year in grants (largest in the govt) and supports all of NIH, CDC + many other public health initiatives. Musk guy Luke Farritor is actively delaying payments to recipients.

New — I'm told USAID employees who tried entering another agency bldg (not HQ) earlier this morning were being turned away by security guards with unknown man blocking turnstiles. Man said msg late last night should have said all buildings closed. But he suddenly left and access reopened—for now.

New — USAID staff received an email just a few minutes ago letting them know HQ would be closed to all personnel Monday. It’s likely some employees will miss the overnight email, show up and be turned away. It was sent by Gavin Kliger, one of the young guys at DOGE doing Musk’s bidding.

To all personnel:
At the direction of Agency leadership, the USAID headquarters at the Ronald Reagan building in Washington, D.C. will be closed to Agency personnel on Monday, February 3, 2025. Agency personnel normally assigned to work at USAID headquarters will work remotely tomorrow, with the exception of personnel with essential on-site and building maintenance functions individually contacted by senior leadership.
