Our ships were all created using Macintosh hardware and off-the-shelf hardware, and they shared the screen with the beautiful, practical USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) and Borg cube miniatures. Several of those ships are original designs by Alex Jaeger, including my favorite, the Akira class.

A missed opportunity - we never had a TNG episode with variable gravity in the shuttlebay.

In 1995, Dolly Parton founded Imagination Library to honor her father who never learned to read or write. The first order was for 1,760 books. Now, it sends 3.4MM+ books each month to children in the US & abroad. In its 30 years, her organization has gifted >325,000,000 books. imaginationlibrary.com

Unused D4 ship - Enterprise It was made for free by Koji Kuramura, who worked without sleep for several days. It was rejected by Rick Berman who demanded Koji add 10 more windows. Rob Bonchune refused to order Koji to do more unpaid work. So Berman ordered the reuse of DS9 K't'inga model instead.

Computer scientist Margaret Hamilton coined the term “software engineer.” She directed the Software Engineering Division at MIT’s Instrumentation Lab & led development of the on-board flight software for NASA’s Apollo Guidance Computer. She was born #OTD in 1936 & turns 90 today! #WomenInSTEM

Two side-by-side black-and-white photographs of pioneering computer scientist Margaret Hamilton (born August 17, 1936). The left panel features a mature, close-up portrait where Hamilton gazes directly at the viewer with a serene, confident, and reflective expression, framed by her long, dark, slightly silvering hair. The right panel is a famous archival photograph showing a younger Hamilton standing indoors next to a towering stack of bound paper binders containing the Apollo Guidance Computer source code, which she led the development of at MIT. She is smiling broadly and wears a striped, long-sleeved mini dress with dark Mary Jane shoes and glasses, resting her hand proudly on top of the massive column of printed code. The overall composition contrasts her youthful triumph with her enduring legacy, capturing an optimistic, intellectually rigorous mood that highlights her monumental contributions to space exploration.

Just to a thank you to everyone who wished me well. I am now over the worst of the illness, though feeling somewhat drained. Still resting up at the moment. I've included a small diagram showing exactly how I've been feeling this past week:

Picked up two HMS casting (The people who made the props for Star Trek) An Endgame Tricorder and the TNG Bug/parasite from Conspiracy. I want to make a 3D model of the Tricorder and make a display like in the Episode. I have the same case.

I had assumed that the series 3 corridor (with the rooms) and the season 2 corridor (long skinny) were both on the same stage 24. However I just found this photo showing the S2 corridor on stage 8 along with the Observation Lounge and Bridge. I matched a wall marking to confirm.
