I'm rewarding myself for finishing my book by . . . re-scouring some fleece. I'm a newbie at fiber prep, so I didn't get the whole thing good enough the first time. Merino (yes, I started on hard mode) looooves to make lanolin. Lots and lots of lanolin.

I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I find this very motivating: Every morning I text a friend and we call our reps/do postcards/whatever. When we report back, we each share a photo. Usually it's cats, but sometimes it's other stuff like spiders** or weird plants we found. I know 1/2
