I wasn’t sure what to wear today but I remembered that recently my son’s voice teacher commented about what I was wearing when we met at a similar show a year ago. She said my look was “unexpected”. I never got around to wearing these pants and the jacket is maybe too much but I’m cold.

Made my kid breakfast and discussed a thing that could bring him to Buffalo next summer which I would welcome so much. Raising kids to be adult people is hard and pulls your heart in so many directions and involves sacrifices that can feel unfair but no regrets.

Good morning! How about them Sabres? That game was a roller coaster and I ended up sleeping great. My son came back from his play thing just as I was going to bed and this morning I get to make him breakfast and talk more about how his acting career is going. It’s a gift to have him around.

Good morning! I slept okay but after a relatively calm day from the guy with dementia, the night was full of him getting up and eating and then a big scare of a hallucination around 4. He is seeing things more vividly and wants things at the ready to fight them.

The roids and I are restless even though we just mixed up lemon cookie dough to bake tomorrow. We are waiting for usps to bring a package that includes descaling stuff for the coffee machine and it’s a stupid chore so the roid input is essential. My mail is usually here by noon, sigh.

I made a double batch of cookie dough and baked 4 dozen. Then I rolled up another 38 cookie balls and froze them. I can bake these in small batches over the next few weeks or maybe days because the guy with dementia has already eaten 4.

Good morning! I had a restless night due to the after effects of the steroid shot but I did eke out enough sleep. I think the post shot pain flare hit around 4am along with the rain, but now that I’m up, I’m better. The pain flare is good because it means they fit the right spot.
